Meet the 2008
Youth Incident Commanders
The operation of ArrowCorps5 was divided into five site subcommittees.
Each committee was led by an Incident Commander who is responsible for the program
at each of the ArrowCorps5 sites. The committee's work began
at the 2007 National Planning Meeting, where the following Section Chiefs were elected
to run their respective sites.

Mark Twain
Don Combs is an Eagle Scout, the Immediate Past Section Chief of
SR-6N, a Vigil Honor member, and past chief, of the Kawida Lodge of the
Blue Grass Council #204. He attended the NOAC in 2006, and has both
participated
in, and staffed, the National Leadership Seminar. Don is a junior at Pikeville
High School. When asked his initial thoughts on being elected he responded
"I look forward to the upcoming year, and working with my new friends."

Manti-La Sal
John Fagan is an Eagle Scout, the Section Chief of NE-2C, a Vigil
Honor member, and past chief, of the Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge of the Greater New
York Councils. John has both participated in, and staffed, the National
Leadership Seminar, and attended the 2007 Northeast Region Section Officer's
Seminar. He has also served on summer camp staff for 5 years. John is studying
Political Science at Fordham University. When asked his initial thoughts
on being elected he responded "I'm very excited to head the projects at
Manti-La Sal, and look forward to making a difference." |

George Washington and Jefferson
Geoff Landau is an Eagle Scout, the Immediate Past Section Chief
of SR-4S, and is a Vigil Honor member of the O-Shot-Caw Lodge of the South
Florida Council #84. Geoff previously served as both a Lodge and Chapter
Chief. He attended the NOAC in 2004 and 2006, has been both a participant,
and staff member for the National Leadership Seminar. Geoff attended, and
served as a foreman for, OATC served in the Service Corps at the 2005 Jamboree,
and in the Chief's Corps at the 2007 National Conservation and Leadership
Summit. Geoff is studying Microbiology at the University of Florida. When
asked his initial thoughts on being elected he responded "Time to have fun." |
Shasta-Trinity
Alex Braden is an Eagle Scout, the Immediate Past Section Chief
of W-4A, a Vigil Honor member, and past chief of the Ta Tanka Lodge of the
San Gabriel Valley Council #40. A Founder's Award recipient, he attended
the NOAC in 2004 and 2006, the National Leadership Seminar in 2002, and
the Western Region's Section Officer's Seminar in 2007. Alex is studying
Public Administration at the University of La Verne. When asked his initial
thoughts on being elected he responded "I look forward to putting on a great
program, at a great site, with great people!" |

Bridger-Teton
Sam Fife is an Eagle Scout, the Immediate Past Section Chief of
W-5D, and is a Vigil Honor member of the Shunkah Lodge of the Grand Teton
Council #107. Sam has also served as a Lodge and Chapter Chief. He has attended
the NOAC, Wilderness Voyage, the Western Region's Section Officer's Seminar,
and has both participated in, and staffed, the National Leadership Seminar.
Sam is studying Business Management at BYU-Idaho. When asked his initial
thoughts on being elected he responded "Let's get to work, 'Totally Teton!'."
