Thousands of Arrowmen to Gather for National Conference
In just over seven months, thousands of Arrowmen from across the country will converge
on the campus of Michigan State University (MSU), in East Lansing, MI, for the 2012
National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC). What is NOAC, you may ask? It is
an awesome week of exciting activities, impressive shows, top-notch training, incredible
camaraderie, and lasting memories. NOAC starts on Monday, July 30 and lasts until
Saturday, August 4, 2012.
NOAC is a unique experience, one that is different for
each Arrowman who attends. Do you want to learn about and compete in ceremonies?
Or do you want to learn about team leadership and communication? Are you interested
in scuba diving, rock climbing, and other high adventure activities? Well, NOAC
has all of those. You pick the adventures that you want to participate in, customizing
your experience.
During the December National Planning Meeting, section chiefs gathered
to start creating the conference. Over the next several months the NOAC committees
will share many of the great things they have in store for guests of the conference.
