What Makes Communications So Cool:

Get the most of out of NOAC by knowing the most about NOAC! All of our activities will provide a wealth of knowledge to conference participants enabling them to get the most out of the conference.

During the Conference, the Communications Committee will:

  • Create the NOAC Live web site (expected to see over 30,000 hits a day)
  • Compose the NOAC newspaper (distributed to 7,500 Arrowmen each day)
  • Run the information booths (helping thousands make the most of NOAC)
  • Broadcast live on NOAC Radio (reaching all of NOAC and beyond)
  • Assist the Arrowmen's Press Corps (getting NOAC news to media nationwide)

The Communications staff will help all Arrowmen discover everything there is to know about NOAC. Whether they are at home following along on the web site, or at the conference reading the newspaper, listening to the radio or inquiring about an activity at an information booth, all of the information about NOAC will be at their fingertips.

Communications will also run the Lodge Newsletter Competition and Lodge Web Site Competition. Web site judging will take place duirng July. The Newsletter judging will take place at NOAC. Results from both competitions will be announced at NOAC.
