Web Site Training Session

Learn how to bring your OA web site to the next level!

By special arrangement, several Communication Committee staff members who work on the National OA Web Site staff will be presenting an OA web site training class at NOAC 2002. This will be Session 425.

The summary description notes:

E-Scouting - The same team of Arrowmen developed this cell that operate the National Order of the Arrow Web Site. Learn to build a web site as a vehicle for effective communications.

Participants attending this session will learn how to improve their chapter, lodge, or section web site. They will discover ways to:

  • Enhance design and graphics,
  • Improve ease-of-use,
  • Heighten functionality, and
  • Avoid policy problems.

The course will be facilitated by Dominique Baker, past Central Region Chief, and involve several of the National OA Web Site staff. Special presenters will include Sage Lichtenwalner, the National OA Web Site Youth Coordinator. The session will be offered only twice, once on Sunday morning July 28 and once on Tuesday morning July 30. Each session will be for a 3-hour period.

This will be your chance to learn how to bring your OA web site to the next level. In the words of one section chief, "This will be a valuable session... One of the best NOAC has to offer!" All Arrowmen who work with chapter, lodge, or section web sites should be sure to attend!

(Register to attend this class by signing up for session 425 on the Sunday or Tuesday class boxes on your Individual Registration form.)
