2010 Central Region Chief, Richie Ferolo
| How do you feel to be a national officer? What is
most exciting about the role? |
It is truly a pleasure to be given the opportunity to serve and to meet
the brothers from around the nation. |
| What are you most looking forward to? |
I am most looking forward to my region's four NLS courses. I feel this
is the item that can make the biggest difference in the region's leadership. |
| What are your earliest memories of the OA? |
Attending chapter meetings with my friends each month. The chapter is
where my seed of leadership was planted. |
| What was your first leadership position and what was the greatest
lesson learned from it? |
My first leadership position was Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and it taught me about delegation. |
| What is the coolest thing you have done in Scouting? |
Being a member of
NLS Staff. |
| What makes you proudest to be an Arrowmen? |
The lifelong friendships that everyone develops through the years of
cheerful service. |
| What are some awesome things you have done in the OA? |
Serving on many training staffs at LLDs, NLSs and NOAC.
Serving as the ARC Chief at NOAC.
Serving all the positions I have been in the last few years. |
| What makes the OA so cool? |
The fact we can all live separate and individual lives while at the
same time be so tight with a group of life long friends. |
