Contingent numbers
We anticipate a full conference. One plea is for contingents to check their numbers and make sure the National Office is up-to-date on the exact figures. At the last NOAC more than 65% of the lodges appeared on-site with numbers different from those they reported to the National Office. We even had a lodge which prepaid for 16 slots and was a NO SHOW! Because contracts have to be set with the University we planned on these individuals participating and consequently there was no refund on any fees. Contingent Leaders please take the extra time to let us know an exact number. We also encourage you to use the housing fax line to fax in your housing assignments just prior to the conference. The registration and housing folks will attempt to preassign your housing spaces, check the fees, and do everything we can to give you "Express Service" through the registration process.
