National events calendar released
To allow lodges adequate time to build the Order of the Arrow's national events into council and lodge calendars and allow Arrowmen time to make preparations to attend, the national events calendar has been released through the year 2014.

Conclave training session focuses on membership retention
This course is in response to membership retention issues our lodges face all over
the country. It brings a fresh look to an old problem. By centering on why people remain in our
organization and what our leaders can do to retain them, we will help our lodges solve the Sash and
Dash problem.

Applications for 2012 Distinguished Service Awards released
The National Order of the Arrow Committee presents the Distinguished Service Award to those Arrowmen who have rendered outstanding service to the Order on a sectional, regional, or national basis. It is given primarily for dedicated service to the Order and Scouting over a period of years. Only a limited number of awards can be presented.

Apply now for 2012 service grants
For 2012, the Order of the Arrow is making available $30,000 in matching grant money to lodges for camp property or service center projects in their local council. The Order will provide up to one-half of the money for a service project with a $5,000 maximum amount granted for any lodge project. Total service project cost is not to exceed $20,000.
