Next Stop: NOAC 2012 contingent quotas removed

In the past, lodges have been limited on the number of Arrowmen they can bring to the National Order of the Arrow Conference; however, for NOAC 2012 there will be no lodge quotas. All Arrowmen approved by their council are invited to attend. While not mandatory, lodges are strongly encouraged to maintain a two-to-one ratio of youths to adults within their contingent.

The Council Contingent Reservation and Transmittal form will be available on oa-bsa.org on October 15, 2011

Journey to Excellence

Order joins BSA's Journey to Excellence

The launch of the BSA's new stategic plan is brining about a new tool to measure performance and recognition. It is being called Journey to Excellence and the OA will being transitioning from the Quality Lodge recognition to the new format in 2012.

Project 2013

Sections takes lead in Project 2013 Recruitment

Project 2013 is an effort to recruit 700 Arrowmen to staff in one of three OA sponsored areas (Trek Guides, Day of Service Guides, or Service Corps members) at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. This will be the first event held at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve and the largest Service Corps contingent assembled by the Order for a jamboree.
