In 2022, the national OA Technology committee created a section website product, which was rolled out in phases in 2022 and 2023 to most sections. As of October 1, 2024, all sections must use this product and will no longer be authorized to operate their own websites, domains, or email servers. Instead, all sections are required to utilize the nationally offered solutions for these needs.
This decision has been made after careful consideration of various concerns surrounding the safety of our youth members and to ensure more consistent and cohesive branding across all OA entities. The use of the centralized website product will enhance security and create a unified online experience for all members.
